Session Summary:The mission of the Internet2 Special Interest Group (SIG) on Emerging Research and Education Networks is to bring together the international community to address advancing the state of high-performance networking for research and education in hard-to-reach places around the world.

Participants are encouraged to share challenges, ideas, opportunities and successful case studies during this informal meeting based on their own experiences.
