International Task Force Meeting - Spring 2000 Internet2 Member meeting
The ITF is made up of representatives from each of the organizations
with whom Internet2 has partnered through a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU). The ITF has met at two past meetings: the Internet2 1999 Spring
and Fall member meetings.
The meeting from 1-5 p.m. was open to all Internet2 members although
seating was limited for non-ITF members.
ITF members should contact Heather Boyles <heather@internet2.edu>
for more information.

Introductions, agenda review |
| 1:15 PM |
Applications collaboration - this section of the
agenda is intended to follow-up on our discussion in Seattle about
how to better promote applications collaborations between our
communities. I've found a number of projects that might be useful
in doing this and have asked for brief presentations on those
efforts. If you have knowledge of other useful applications database
or clearinghouse efforts that might be interesting to hear about,
please let me know.

| 2:45 PM |
Applications Communities - I've asked Mary Kratz
who is heading up the Health Sciences initiative for Internet2
to speak about partners she is seeking for collaborations in that
area. Charley Granieri has offered to talk about a project he
and Warren Matthews have been working on to get end2end analysis
of international links in support of the HEP community.

| 3:30 PM |
International Connectivity to Internet2 - I've put
this agenda
item here to catch hot topics in the ever evolving connectivity
space. I
anticipate having Abilene and vBNS status updates; an update on
STAR
TAP and its evolution; a quick roundtable to catch any major connectivity
plan changes among ITF members, etc. |
